Padang Mountain or Siti Nurbaya Mountain

Now, my posting will explain about one city at Indonesia Islands – it is called Padang. Padang is located at Sumatra Island. Padang has a big role in developing of Indonesian Islands. Padang is the central city of West Sumatra.  When you visit this city, you would know that – this city has been formed  as advanced city at west Sumatra. This city has many facilities – that support it as the advanced city. This city has many complete public services such as hospital, a good road, a good buildings, health service, even education. This city has a lot of uniqueness. One of them is Padang Mountain. It is located not too far away from Padang. It is about 1 km to get there – from the west of Padang city – and about 26 km from Minangkabau International Airport. If you are newcomer – and you want to visit this beautiful mountain, you could find many meaningful varieties of cultures, social, and historical. The value of culture side – you could see people will help each other. They want to help each other honestly – without money visions. Most of the people who live at this mountain – are very respectful and kind to the tourist. Along the journey to Padang Mountain, you will find the amazing beautiful scenery. The scenery – at high of Padang Mountain will cover with the sea. Location of Padang Mountain is near by the sea. At the top of this mountain, you will find the grave of Siti Nurbaya – a familiar tale from Padang. Whole story of “Siti Nurbaya” has close meaning into true love. Many people who live around this mountain – also called this mountain with Siti Nurbaya Mountain.  Along this “Padang Mountain or –  “Siti Nurbaya Mountain” –  you will find some hotels, or lodging for the night. So you don’t have to be careful – while climbing this mountain. While you are climbing this mountain, you could walk some ladders – which called “Ladder of Siti Nurbaya”. In your journey, you will find the old fortress of Dutch. It is used by Dutch soldiers to face Japan soldier in 2^nd war. In this old fortress, you would find the big canon – this canon has about 30 tons weights.  These are the some historical artifact for the history of Indonesian Islands. If you look at those historical artifacts, you will be brought into the old era – which could make you scare as the journey of 2^nd war. This is my little explanation of Padang Mountain. Thanks
